Qualifiers take it two steps back so it is equivalent to a PSA 6

Your 8 PD has the same value as a PSA 6 on the set registry according to registry rules.
SMR is useless, true, current value can be seen on past ebay sales. A PSA 7 just sold for $16, a PSA 8 sold for $33. I would guess that your PSA 8 PD would sell in the $10-$15 range assuming that the PD is very light and hardly noticable. Good luck with it. It may look better in an ungraded set in pages than in a PSA holder that has the defect up in bright lights, so to say.
    Brett @ $16.50

    Brett @ $32.98

Ammendment to above: Just checked the PSA 8 that sold on ebay, turns out it is a 8 PD also. Although the seller doesn't mention this in his title, or in the listing header. Only mentions it in the "fine print". Although the buyer did leave positive feedback and was happy with the card. I'd rather have the 7 for $16 than the 8PD for $32, but to each his own.

well i did not see the 8 that sold for 32.00. i got mine four months ago for 27.50. my card has black print spots on bretts arm. it is centered 60/40 t/b and l/r. i can not really see the printspots when i look at far away.

It looks like you won this one a few days ago on ebay, it comes up on a bidder list with the same ID lwehlers.

If you want to know what a similar card would sell for without you bidding, the same seller has a similar card (PSA cert # is 1 lower than yours) listed on ebay currently.

Sure do but didn't put a bid on it. Trying to fix my computer so until I get the actual power supply that I purchased on eBay (they sent the wrong one but the right one should be here from them Wednesday) I'm not bidding on anything.

thats me. i bought the one with black print spots for 27.00 four months ago. i just received the one that was scanned above for 32.00. the white spots on the card are not as bad in person. i just took a chance and bid 35.00 and got the card for 32.00. i was wondering if it might be worth more but i can see i probaly over paid for it.

i wasnt thinking when i said the one for 32.00 in my above post was not me. it is me that bought one for 32.00. there is another one on ebay right now that has better centering. there is also a straight eight right now that just got listed today. i am going to watch that one and see if maybe i can get that one. the 76 topps brett is my favorite brett card other then the 1983 topps. i have a ten of that one.

That card will drive you nuts. It is always off centered, has printing problems or an ugly diamond cut.
I have never seen one that I thought was the one. You would think after all these years some case
would have yielded some nice examples but i have yet to see a nice run.
