FINALLY! Pics of newps... caution dial-uppers...

I've been without a digital camera for months but I finally got the old one to work. Here are some pieces I've gotten since I came to Baltimore. Mainly from the Baltimore shows... as always... thoughts, comments and grade opinions are welcome. I'm particurly fond of the 1924 SLQ... I passed up quite a number of coins before seeing this one...     You building a type set? -
    Nice looking photo's... but you might play around with the white balance settings to get rid of the yellow tint.

    Yes... Dansco 7070. I'm about 3/4 the way complete.

    I'm without my tripod and a true lighting setup. This was the hardest I could hold by hand and using a florescent desk lamp. Primative... but I was really wanting to get images of new pieces...L

    Thanks for the comments, especially on the 1838 CBQ. I vacillated somewhat on this purchase before pulling the trigger. Although I can't detect any evidence of a past cleaning, I think it might have been cleaned many years ago and has since retoned to a nice "circulated cameo" appearance.

    It's 171 years old and in well circulated condition. You can pretty much rest assured it's been cleaned at some point in the past. Who cares though. It's got a great look to it for what it is.
