Philippines 1945 20 Cent-How much silver content?

Hello,

Will someone please tell me how much silver is in it?

In a weak moment of looking for something else I bought a nice BU 1945 Philippines 20 C dated 1945 for $1.50. This is how I accumulate coins, it just sort of looked nice and for $1.50 I thought I'd throw it in with the other coins I bought.

Thank you
Some call it an accumulation not a collection

There's .1558 oz. actual silver weight (ASW) in one of those 1945 Philippine 20 centavos according to Krause.

Don't feel bad...I still collect like that. I've had very few complete collections and change my focus every other month or so. image

Silver content was .1558 @ .9000 fine and 5.3849g through 1906. Beginning in 1907 the fineness was changed to .7500 and the weight reduced to 4g resulting in .0964 ASW.
