Recent purchase - Sp Authentic triple auto #'d to 10

One of my favorite cards!

A triple auto of Muggsy Bogues, Larry Johnson and Glen Rice. Rice had his best year of his career with the Hornets in 1996, he was also selected to the NBA all-star game. You can't forget Grandmama and the shortest player in NBA history - Muggsy? Not sure if he was the shortest or not, but he was definetly one of the shortest anyway, haha. I just love this card...

Thanks for looking!

Bogues is still the shortest @ 5'3" to ever play in the NBA ..... I'm pretty sure that Boykins is the shortest currently @ 5'5".

I used to love to watch Lil' Tyrone dunk 'em! Unbelievable!!!

I would say that card brought some decent coin. I saw the Larry Johnson UD Black auto with the Grandmama inscription selling for over $300 a couple times.
  • PoppaJ, thanks for the info! I was pretty sure it was him.

Allen, yeah that inscription is a great card to have, I love that card, but not dropping $300 or more on it. I don't really buy high end stuff, only when I can get a deal for it, didn't hit the lotto yet. I paid about $125 for that triple, so I am very happy to have paid that, because I saw one of these selling for around $500. Do you collect basketball? How do you feel about the whole topps/ud situation? Its going to be a boring next 4 years for basketball collectors!

Maybe not. He seems to have some understanding of the issues.
And, he definitely wants to make money.

Muggsy Bogues ... Career high of ten (10) rebounds on March 25, 1994 versus Detroit and two (2) block shots on April 18, 1994 versus New Jersey. Awesome!

Before I clicked on this thread, I am thinking: This has GOT to be an EB card.
    I was wrong. Carry on...

    Oh, and very cool card.
