Shipping traded sets??

What are some of the acceptable ways to package a topps traded set, or a fleer update set for shipping.
Flate rate boxes will cost way to much. Would it be a bad idea to ship one in an over sized bubble mailer?
I wish I had some of the Little boxes that PSA uses to ship our cards back to us, those would be perfect.

I've just used small cardboard boxes that I've gotten from various sources. Just wrap the set or use peanuts or paper or whatever so it can't bounce around. Maybe stop by a grocery store or convenience store and ask them for any extra small cardboard boxes.

  • I use to work in a grocery store (I work in their Datacenter now) and we were always happy to hold boxes for customers. Ask for various sizes so that you get a good variety.

BAD BAD BAD! I had a seller do that once, and the set showed up with 8 crunched corners.

The dumpsters behind any Ross Stores location usually
contain a bonanza of assorted boxes and packing materials.

I buy 300 or 400 count boxes from the card shop for .50 cents each.
