Does this look odd to anyone else?

I just started on the NBA Top 50 Rookie registry and this is one of the cards I need;

1989 David Robinson PSA 10

This is another auction that ended a few minutes later -- from the same seller;

Auction #2

I buy/sell on eBay a fair amount but this looks particularly odd.

    What looks odd? I don't see it.

    Hi Scott,

    The cards have different Cert #s which is normal.

    I think what happened is that the seller had the 2 auctions so close to each other that time ran out before the losers of the 1st auction could bid on the 2nd one ... perhaps they didn't notice the 2nd auction at all.

    Not sure what you're referring to, are you questioning the different poses on the two cards?
    If so, the card where David is holding the jersey was released early in the Hoops run and is more rare, and it was replaced with the more plentiful action shot.
    Two different cards, but I'm sure you knew that already...

    Edited to add . . . nevermind -- and thanks to Matt for pointing out my idiocy -- maybe it's time to get some sleep image

    Interesting - I remember guying a couple of boxes of Hoops 1st series and they said that the Robinson was an SP.

    That card was hot, hot, hot for some time and now? I can't believe a 10 goes for only 60 bucks. The 2nd card is from the 2nd series.

    BOTH cards are available and one did not replace the other. Card #138 (holding jersey) was available in Series 1 boxes while the #310 (shooting) was available in Series 2 boxes (along with card #138 and the other Series 1 cards).

    Please folks, if you aren't sure of what you speak, PLEASE put a disclaimer ("I think" or "If I recall correctly") rather than spreading incorrect and/or inaccurate information as if it were FACT.

    Edit - To qualify that Series 2 also included Series 1 cards

    There was also a Robinson card in his Navy colors inserted into Hoops series 3 packs that year, but that card rarely shows up on the market.

    Actually, card #138 was not available in series 2 packs, just #310.

    Was that the shrink wrapped version or the fish biting crotch version?

    I really disliked David Robinson back then for what he did to Cleveland State. I still think they didn't want to see Vikings go any further in the tournament that year and he got the call....

    What about if you think you are sure but are found to be incorrect?

    Totally agree...CSU got hosed big time. I am not saying they would've beaten Duke in the next game, but they would not have been humiliated like Navy was...
