Calling on Chicago residents

I plan on being in Chicago the 23-26 of next week. I was thinking of going to a cubs game and they just happen to play the Reds(I am from Cinti). My question is what are the chances of scalping some tickets(4) at the gate for the Fri or Sat game? Should I try to line something up in advance or will I be ok at the gate? Also, what type of prices can one expect to pay just to get in the door- we are not looking for great seats. Any info would be great.

TIA Dave

Friday will be cheaper and you should have no problem at all finding seats for face.

Don't waste your money on 200 level or 500 level.

Go with 100 level closest to 120 is best, 400 level (421 is best), or ofcourse Club box (sections 10-30 are best). Bleachers are fun if you are there to party. Not much paying attention to the game occurs there.

400 level is usually best bang for buck!

dont sit in right-center(ish) portion of bleachers either,
    it's directly above men's bathroom.

200 level does suck + you could get stuck behind a metal pillar or something... 400 level would be the way to go or the bleachers.

Stubhub has 4 tickets Section 425 row 3 for $95 each. Personally I think the bleachers are over rated to go and watch the game unless you are there to party and look at cute girls.

There are always people selling at the games but I'm not sure what you'll pay.

Also for parking I would recommend a small lot next to the IHOP which is located about 5 blocks NE of Wrigley - Always easy out and for $20 well worth it! If you want the addy IM me and I'll look it up.
