Learning on Ebay / 1913-S Dimes

I'm working on training my eyes to pick-up better on coins that won't grade or are damaged. I was looking at 1913-S dimes for practice this morning. I only found 5 examples on eBay today. Curious if anyone would do some clicking along with me and tell me if I commented on these correctly? Please. I think most of the auction photos are fair enough to make a call on them. I'm not saying I'm near right on any of these, just having a Training Day. And no offense meant to the sellers - 1913-S was a random target from a random article I read this week.

#1 Barber #1 Oops, search page

#2 Barber #2 WHIZZED?

#3 Barber #3 FIELD OF REVERSE WHIZZED? RIM DAMAGE ON OBV 6O'CLOCK?

#4 Barber #4 CLEANED

#5 Barber #5 CORRODED (REV TOP)?

#6 Barber #6 CLEANED / ABRASIVE ON THE BUST?

Edited to add: these may (or not) be obvious examples, but I appreciate the help anyhow. I spent some time with one of my older type sets recently and I'm not so sure cleaning was always as obvious to me.

Thanks for the help. And if using these examples encroach on anyone PM me and I'll poof this - don't want to offend anyone.

    you might search auctions for
    anacs details coins
that have been graded already with the problems noted
    with decent pictures

Barber 2 - cleaned acratch on wreath on reverse
Barber 3 - cleaned in field below dime
Barber 4 - heavily worn AG3 with horizontal lines - could be cleaning but could be photo angle - not a 1913-S dime
Barber 5 - small pic, maybe fine - reverse corrosion or toned? not a 1913-S dime
Barber 6 - light scratch on lower bust - may not be deep enough ti keep from holder

whizzed coins are usuallly higher grades - XF and better - a wire rotary brush is used and moves the entire surface of the coins - bringing out detail but impairing luster
making coins look BU to untrained eye

be careful on eBay with keys listed wrong (date or MM or denomination), I get confused the most with seated dimes and half dimes listed wrong

I think you did pretty well with your assessments.

1 through 4 have hairlines from harsh cleaning.

5 has enviornmental damage on the back

6 is the best of the lot, but possbility of scratch on neck makes it not worth taking a chance with.

Hunting raw coins on eBay can net some good finds, but it takes a lot of sorting through cleaned crap. Every week or so I search around 1000 listings and only find a handful worth bidding on (around 5 or so).
