Opinions on Whether to Grade Some Packs

Alright, I don't have much experience (actually none) on grading packs, or whether to grade them at all. Perhaps I should just rip them. What I have is two 1980 Topps football cello packs. One has Walter Payton on the front and it's nicely visible. The other has Steve Largent on the back. The Payton card is the most valuable in the set, while the Largent is also a key card, but located on the back of the pack. I don't know if getting them graded would even be worth it.

I guess I'm just looking for opinions on whether to get these graded and sell, or just rip them and leave it alone. My guess is to rip, but I thought I'd ask some of the more experienced folks, since let's face it, 1980 Topps doesn't exactly have collectors fighting over them.

I don't know that I would grade the Payton pack, but I definitely wouldn't rip it. If it's on top and wrapped tightly, the corners likely aren't sharp. If that's indeed the case, it's still a nice card, but wouldn't hold much value raw. The value is to a collector that wants the unopened pack with the Payton showing on top, especially if it's nicely centered.
