No rub, that's strike. 64BN at PCGS, 65BN at NGC. --Jerry
  • If it is a striking issue, Id say a 65BR at PCGS and a 66 ATS.

Nice coin rregardless of the grade though.

Wow, that is surprising. I see it's priced as a 63 though.

I predict this will be sold very soon (unfortunately, I'm out of coin money for this month.)

Yes, I noticed that while perusing their website....$225 for a lightly cleaned A&R quarter in XF40? I just sold a nicer one than that to SeaEagle for <$100!

I agree. They did give me a very fair price for a CBQ I once sold them though image

Unless one believes PCGS got it wrong.
  • They are wrong at times, but I am too.

I clearly saw what looks to be like wear though on the curls of Libety. Some here mentioned maybe a weak strike, but PCGS saw it as wear. So... Maybe this time they got it right? image

I wouldn't be too surprised if this coin ends up in an MS holder at some point though. If it were priced as an AU coin then it would be a fantastic buy!

Perhaps I should refrain from guessing the grades image

I believe the expert looking at the coin in hand, raw, is much more likely to get it right than one looking at a photo. --Jerry
