It is certainly nice to know at least one of today's star baseball players has some respect and/or interest in baseball's rich history.

During an All-Star Weekend when history is made and honored, Ichiro Suzuki paid respects to a man whose achievements are sometimes linked with his own.
Ichiro, in St. Louis for his ninth All-Star Game, visited the grave of St. Louis Browns star George Sisler, a two time .400 hitter, whose single-season record of 257 hits (154 game season ) was broken by the Mariners outfielder in October 2004.
I wonder how many of today's players making millions from the game of baseball, know a little about George Sisler, maybe even Addie Joss, Arky Vaughn, or Johnny Mize ?

Very few fans have that respect for those players. You proudly and respectfully carry the torch for them.
Players? I would say that is surprising about Ichiro.
