Are the bids for the Bowers & Merena ANA auction reserves?

    Good question, my Dutch friend.

    I asked the same question on the Mega Barber Thread...see my last post.

    I was advised by someone who I trust that the prices listed are opening prices and
    have nothing to do with the reserves. Unlike Heritage, who opens most unreserved
    lots at $1.00, B&M seems to open the lots at a wholesale level. [ or close to wholesale ].

    I believe same as stacks- check out the upcoming auction. Amazing stuff with lots of wholesale first bids

    Bowers seems to open the lots I want at about 30% of what I think they will garner at closing.
    I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
