Very tasty items... that Mantle is dead on!
I really like the 78 cellos too...
OK it all rocks!!
My Registry Sets
It magnifies up to 30x's and the bulbs can be replaced if you wish to so you can insert a black light bulb to help detect coloring on a card or any other type of alteration.
It works great to look at cards before submiting them. I usually turn off all the lights in the room and only use the light that is on the lamp as it really brings out the card and allows you to focus on everything.
While PSA uses 10x's magnification, I like to look deeper at the card to find flaws.
It can be found at hobby lobby..

Thinking the same thing - centering is good enough for a .5 bump - it's a $2000 price difference if it does.

Nice mail day......
ON ITS WAY TO NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
My regular mail lady is GREAT, but the fill in that I get at least once a week is just awful.
I spy a 75 cello with Ted Simmons on the front.

I just decided - I have to get one of those 1976 empty boxes, and an unopened pack from that year as well for my collection.
Let me know if anyone has either/both they are interested in selling!
Thanks,

My take is that they're more prized unopened.
I'm with Felicia on this one - tho I do understand people's view on being tempted!
Also, sweet 56T Mick!
mike
at least most of them..
Also, LOVE the '56 Mantle but not sure it would 8.5 due to T/B centering. It's worth a look, though.

You know, you're right. I didn't really look closely at the right side of the card and his uniform makes the centering less obvious.

My primitive skills have the T/B centering on the 1956 Mantle at 60/40, which by PSA's standards is good enough for a 9, so it would not be the centering that held it back from a possible 8.5
Seriously, those are awesome. I hope you have a blast ripping and find some gems in there. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us.

Unfortunately I had a 1961 and 1969 Aaron that failed to bump to 8.5 with a note stating top to bottom centering prevented the upgrade. I measure both to be exactly 60-40.

I didnt say it would, just that it was within the standards.
Here's hoping I can level the playing field at the National. Too bad I can send my wife the bill...
