Why does my avatar show the correct coin

but some other designation in the list of avatars? It shows it as being 2345 in the avatar table, but 2345 is a Lincoln cent.

Happened to me, last month, and I ended up losing my icon about mid-way through the month.
Went back to one of my older ones.


Edited...and, it was the same 2345 and lincoln cent that you are talking about.

Same thing happenned to me a month or so ago.

I believe it is because CU hasn't saved new avatars permanently for several months, so if you change anything in your profile on any day other than avatar upload day, you will lose your new avatar.

Anytime you go into your profile and it is not icon upload day that is what happens. I don't know why, but it has happened to me on at least four occations.

Thanks all. I noticed that my last icon change disappeared mysteriously one month when I used an older one for a brief period.
I guess ya gotta keep what ya have or lose it now.

Didn't use to happen like that....wonder if there were IT department layoffs earlier this year or late last year.....

Happened to me too. I think they do save them as the proper URL will bring it up, but it does not list it as an available avatar.

Must be. When i changed my signature about a month and a half ago, it was not the 15th and my avatar changed to the 2345 Lincoln Cent. Good thing my old avatar was still loaded up there to choose from.
