Anyone ever submit through an authorized dealer?

How does it work? I'm currently not a CU member because I buy most of my cards already graded and just don't have the time to submit enough to make it worth my while. However I do have some stuff sitting around that I would like to have slabbed and I may not be patient enough to wait for the next group sub. Anyone have any experience, who'd you go through, what were the costs, etc.

Thanks
Travis

Many moons ago but it is just worth it to but the membership. You get 12 free subs
and a two year window to submit whatever you want? Not sure if that helped?
If I did submit through a authorized dealer it would be Jay Wolt who is
    a member here.

For most folks, the membership is a much better deal.

    BUT, new folks who don't know a 5 from a 9 - even though
they may think they do - can save time/money by using
    one of the ADs.

The "pre-screening" of submissions by an AD is often very
    worthwhile.

Most of the ADs will also help new folks learn the ropes of
    picking cards for grading.
