1916 PR65RB MPL in Bowers Los Angeles ANA Auction

I submitted several coins in the upcoming Bowers ANA Auction in Los Angeles. Unfortunately the image for one of the coins, a 1916 PR65RB MPL came out terrible (see below):




A much better and more realistic image of the coin was taken by Brian Wagner (see below):



I should mention that the images of my other coins in this auction came out much better, but wanted the MPL members in the Forum to have a chance to see a more realistic image of this beautiful coin.

The bowers photos do nothing for your coin... wow- It has been discussed and discussed- Someone should make them allow you to submit some of your own photos... the BM phots are just horrid

Why are you selling that scarce coin

Simple reason, am liquidating some of my extra coins to raise capital. Hopefully will be in a position later this year to continue to upgrade the McCullagh Collection of Red MPL's.

To Bowers credit, they reshot the image and as you can see from below, it came out much better:



The images have now been updated in the on-line catalogue. Thank you to Bowers' Steve Deeds and Raeleen Endo for their assistance on this.
