Im not an expert , but im pretty sure the Bugs Bunny variety Franklin was isolated to 1955 , i was fortunate enough to get a fairly decent example , heres mine cropped as the forum only allows 50k.

I believe there are several other years that have the BB effect, a member named Bushmaster will hopefully chime in, he knows Franklins.
Doesn't qualify as a Bugs. Interesting though. Seen that lip bump on many 1959's but that may be the most pronounced I've seen. Not sure what caused it. Doesn't look like a clash. Maybe a die chip?

This is 100% wrong There are other years that had the bugs
In theory that sounds right , however the mint would have caught on to it quick and eradicated the problem..no ?From what i understand 1955 is the year the Bugs Bunny Franklin is acknowledged , as an experiment i typed Franklin bugs bunny into google and every single link took me to a 1955 P half. Hopefully an expert will clear this up as ive a few things to do in this gorgous sunshine , perhaps a member can post a pic of a bugs bunny franklin that isnt 1955 P ?

There are other years that had the bugs
then I see no reason as to why the clashing could not take place on any Franklin date from 1948 thru 1963

what year , 56 or 55 , is the most common with the clash ?
It's a "pop one". A big juicy one.
