Is the term Slider grade still used today?

I can remember years ago, going to coin shows and watching many dealers in action at the tables offer up so called raw "SLIDERS" coins..
I always believed a Slider is ones opinion, hence trying to get more bang for the buck.
So, is that term still being used today?

<< <i>I heard it used just last night when the late Billy Mays was hawking a 4 at a time mini hamburger press (you dont even need to flip them!)...and the burgers were called sliders. >>
When I was lying in the hospital I heard Billy Mays died.. So how was he on tv at 4.

And yes slider is used at least around Sacramento to denote AU-58/64 grades.
