You are ALL invited to attend, and be a part of this exclusive community in the energized atmosphere of Las Vegas.
For Authorized Dealers, it gives you a chance to display your coins at one of just 25 tables in an intimate setting.
If you choose not to be a table holder, come anyway. You are welcome to buy, sell and trade as you see fit.
For Collectors Club Members, it's offered as an exclusive benefit.
You can have your coins graded onsite, check dealer inventories for potential purchases and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow collectors.

Only thing is, if it isn't in Seattle (doubtful ), then it would only be Vegas due to hotels/airfare/location/flight times.
So, I would say Vegas is likely about the best. Plus, it probably makes travel easier on the PCGS/CU folks

In Las Vegas, it's very easy just to stay in those nice air conditioned casinos and never even go outside!

I'd have to agree, since I'm in El Paso, but Texas in summer is just as hot as LV!

Fly, dude. It's cheaper than gas.

Perfect way & place to celebrate the Birthday too.
Yes, you'll find flight and room specials online, just about everywhere.
Try MSN, for starters.

What is a "Take-home" submission?
<< <i>Got my rsvp in, got my free hotel, and got my $119 rountrip flight already booked - so poker tables - uh, I mean PCGS dealer tables - here I come! >>
I was not going to attend but if I can find a flight for a little over 100.00 I am all over it. As far as hotels for everyone else there are numerous CHEAP hotels in vegas starting at about 30.00 per night. The only bummer about vegas in august is its well into the 115 degree range. Just like charmy said earlier though vegas is set up so you dont ever need to go outside

What does Dallas or Austin have to offer that has more appeal than Las Vegas? What does Dallas or Austin offer to convince people to make a special trip out there?
While we're on the subject, does anybody want to make the argument for Omaha?

I agree
I know many folks like Vegas; personally, I have never been a big Vegas person. Add in a hot summer, and I can think of numerous cities I would rather be in IMHO. Here are a few ideas:
1 - Seattle WA - Cooler that time of year
2 - San Jose CA - Cooler that time of year
3 - Long Beach CA - I know too close to home for a PCGS getaway
4 - Disneyland Hotel Anaheim CA - See above
5 - Monterey CA - The Hyatt could hold 25 Dealer tables and tons of things to do.
6 - Lake Tahoe CA - The Gambler's alternative in a cooler setting.
7 - Napa/Sonoma CA - Way better alcohol and Indian casinos.
8 - Honolulu HI - If it's going to be hot, it might as well be someplace good IMHO!
9 - Anchorage AK - Now that would be COOL!
10 – Denver CO – Cooler and very accessible
That is just on the west coast, not to mention SF or BC.

<< <i>We're all ears.....although Vegas is tough to beat. >>
Boy, Don, we've really narrowed it down for you, haven't we! Hey, IMHO just keep in Vegas - the last show was very successful (so why mess with a good thing), it's easy to fly into, great hotels and food (the Venician and Palazzo are absolutely amazing!), it works well, makes a majority of people happy, lots of stuff for kids and family to do, and it's just plain fun!

Perception is relative Charmy!
1 - Just because it was very successful doesn't mean it couldn't achieve greater success?
2 - I didn't and wouldn't take my kids to Vegas or go myself when someone gave me a free all expenses paid trip.
If you want me to narrow it down, I will make it very simple....anywhere but Vegas.
That would include Omaha!

The perception part is very true, but changing the location means sort of starting over and not really knowing whether it will work as well in that new location - when where it's at is already proven to be successful. And the family part is an understandable personal choice. But OMAHA! Hmmmm, not sure that is a "better" location for a PCGS show, no offense intended to Omahaians, just can't imagine it, personally speaking. Perhaps if they decided to have one on the other side of the country, Chicago would be a better choice, IMHO.
