I would say it DOES break eBay rules because the seller uses a numerical grade in the title when, in fact, the coin being sold has not been given a numerical grade by the TPG.
Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.
Doesn't meet it and the forum member who has that listing knows it and commented such in my thread about these types of auctions yesterday. People know better but it is all about sales and money
Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

As a seller one is certainly free to and allowed to agree or disagree with the grade PCGS gives it, esp since they have the coin in hand and can see it. Technically it may be a bit of spamming. Personally, I don't give a rat's ass about it one way or tuther, but if it really bugs smoe of you here then by all means tattle on him.

Yes you are free to disagree with the tpg grade. You are NOT allowed to list it as pcgs graded vf30 when in fact the coin is a genuine coin.

Thats true, but if you understand the differences who cares? Smoe folks seem to have nothing better to do than bring every little eBay infraction/transgression to these boards. If Kenny Koinsaver knows its wrong then why does he need to come here to ask if its wrong?
Maybe best to contact the seller and point the sin out to him. If he comes back with a smartass response then one could also let us know the guy is an Ahole too.
I don't think we should bring up any more ebay questions. It is irrelevant what we think.
If coin dealers have no need to look out for customer who bring them coins and pay them almost nothing for coins worth five grand, why in the world should we want to worry about them here.
Move along.

Actually it looks more like fraud to me than a"little ebay transgression". He advertises a coin as what it is not in the title, hoping to grab some newbie and take advantage of their lack of knowledge. It's why people always talk crap about coin dealers, it's amazing that someone supports this type of crap.
If you know better, then don't bid on his coin and move on.
Advanced collector of BREWERIANA. Early beer advertising (beer cans, tap knobs, foam scrapers, trays, tin signs, lithos, paper, etc)....My first love...U.S. COINS!

I don't support it, I just don't care about it. I can plainly see that the label says genuine and I can also plainly see where he says that PCGS thinks its genuine, but I think its 30. When bidding on a coin like that, its hard to know what its worth; certainly no more than 30 money [and likely less].

I hate the new eBay layout.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

And that makes this listing right or fair to every other HONEST seller that takes the time to list their wears properly?
