German pattern coinage

Hi folks-

Is there a source for mintages for German pattern coinage? Schaaf's book does not seem to contain any known or estimated mintages. I am particularly interested in pieces done by Karl Goetz. Thanks.

In his descriptions for some of these patterns, Schaaf does note the number of pieces either known or struck where that information was available to him. For example, check out the post WW II Allied Occupation patterns.

Ron's a great guy...I thought I would try other avenues before I emailed him.

Ron Guth is always a good place to start. Germans are known for keeping good recordsimage This is not one of those areas and along with proof mintages there seems to be little available. I know CWT and the patterns that he collects, the mintages are are generally known mostly by there auction appearances and records keep by the German auction houses. BTW, CWT has some very rare German patterns.image The only thing I know about German patterns and how rare they are, I get from a German dealer, Dirk Löbbers, who has a Schaaf marked up with a German scale and I can ask him. Goetz patterns are another story and Cacheman may have some information in that regards. I do know that my icon is fairly common in copper, but much harder in other metals.
