Picked up this seated dime today.grading opinions welcomed:)

Havn't bought a coin in awhile, and I had a craving for something seated. Probably a detector find but liked it for under $28 bucks. Seller's pic:




What do you think it grades around.

Doubt it. That looks like the sorta stuff it would take a baking soda scrub to remove, and then you'd have a pretty horrid looking scrubbed-out piece.

Thats a dog of a coin. But its an N.O. coin so I like it. Also, could have bought alot worse for $28.

Well, for wear, it is probably at least AU.... but net is a cull.

I'll have to examine it in person to see the extent of the surface crud and I'llwill go from there. She just needs a little tlc...ok maybe lots.

Detail wise it is XF to me. I wouldn't clean it in any way. Send it to PCGS. It's only $18 (economy) to find out. Of course you have a better idea in hand than me looking at a pic. But I definitly would not clean it in any way. Looks like an old coin should.
