Opinions on what you think this is on two lincolns

Image one I found two of these while searching some 09 P mint Formative years and the second is one of eight I found in a bank roll of P mint Log Cabin. Thanks in advance for you input.

On this one look just above the thumb, is it a die chip or a double die.


On this one It looks like a die crack to me running between the J abd L but I'm just not positive.

Id say a die chip on the first, maybe.

And the second looks like a die crack.

Thanks That's what I was thinking but I've been up for the last 27 hours just got home and had that second wind hit and can't sleep, so what else do you do--look at coins of course.

The first appears to be a die chip on the book & the second a die crack - as you suspected.... However, you might want to check the hand area from different lighting angles at it seems to show something coming off the spine area towards the finger/thumb... may be similar to 2009 1c FY WDDR-027?? (There are now 40 DDR's listed)
