Great IP at Fenway 7/8 NomaH!

Managed to go to the first and last Oakland games at Fenway this week
Got to see Nomar's return to the ballpark and the standing O was incredible!
Monday I went with my brother and actually ran into my gf's sister. She managed
to meet Nomar during batting practice and got his sig on her ticket
Last night, me and my gf had tix and our plan was to meet her favorite Red Sox player of all time!
We beat trafic and got to the park 1.5 hrs early only for batting practice to get called off!!! DOH!!!
Nomar managed to emerge from the visitors dugout only to parade down the opposite side.....CRAP!!
Both being bummed with the game about to start and getting shunned, we proceeded to pound beers on
Yawkey way
Long story short, I planned for us to creep around the inside of Fenway until the visiting team exited through
and tried not to get booted by security
BOOM out he came and graciously signed for the both of us. He signed the back of her shirt and a ball for me
What a great turnaround for a nite that started off in the dumps
Thanks to a great ballplayer for 2 fans!!

I was sitting at a light admiring this sweet Audi that had rolled up next to me, when I looked up and noticed the lady in the passenger side looked like Mia Hamm. Well I immediately looked over at the driver and it was NOMAR, along with Mia and his twins in the backseat. I gave up a thumbs up, he rolled down the passenger window, and asked if I was an A's fan. I replied just a bseball fan, but loved watching him play SS in Boston. Class guy! >>

Mia and Nomar are very active in our area and I've seen them on a few occasions. I haven't seen them in Redondo, but I've seen them in Hermosa Beach and his hometown, Manhattan Beach.

Brian, I didnt know you Lived in that area. I am out there all the time, (in fact I will be there next week). Our HQ is in Torrance, so I stay down at King Harbor at the Portofino. We should get together next week! Always enjoy getting out there.
