And Rick Sutcliffe said that David Wright mentioned that the Mets just aren't a good ball club.
I was shocked to hear that a Met, or even one of it's fans, had the intelligence to conjure up such a truth.
So hats off to the David Wright He's too smart to be playing for that club.
Sincerely,
It's been over twenty years

Tell me how did it feel knowing that your team sucked for so long?
Steve
Must be tuff answering that question.
Oh and by the way, Wright said "we are not a good team right now'
Steve
<< <i>That means that in 60 more years Mets fans will know what Sox fans went through.
Tell me how did it feel knowing that your team sucked for so long?
Steve >>
David Wright is proven correct once again. A dumb Mets fan asks someone who isn't even near sixty how
it's felt the past 60 years. When I started following the Red Sox, we were in the world series against the big red machine
in 75, then again in 86. Then we won two world championships a few years ago.
We've been doing pretty darn good in my lifetime.
Thanks for asking a stupid question. David was Wright
Now back under the bed for you.
Yeah 86 was a great Sox year.
Steve
I said, and read it slow, "How does it feel knowing that your team sucked for 60 years"
A person could be 5 years old and it could apply to them. One does not have to be alive during that time.
NOT "How it's felt the past 60 years".
Now who is dumb? The answer is quite easy YOU!
Steve
My team is doing great right now. Your team hasn't won a championship in 23 years.
My team performed the greatest sports comeback of all time against their hated rival and the best closer of all time.
Your team nor any other team can match that.
My team had the greatest hitter of all time (Ted Williams).
Your team had Rusty Staub.
I never saw Ted Williams play, so I don't know anything about my father's Red Sox. I only know
about the Red Sox I've watched since 1975. And they have given me more pleasure then any other
team could give their fans, because they did something nobody ever did, nor probably will ever do again in the history of major
league baseball. See New York Yankees.
And David Wright still said the Mets stink. And I agee.
So in closing, the Mets suck right now, and the Red Sox don't.
Edited to add that Mets fans should have more class when discussing opposing views.
Next time you call someone else 'dumb' make sure you know what the hell you are
talking about.
And yes your team 'sucked' for 60+ years.

<< <i>I pictured douchebag pounding his feet as he typed out that diatribe.
Steve >>
Is douchebag classy too
Or are you too stupid to see that?
I guess you did not notice being so stupid that you inferred I was dumb first.
Yeah I'm real angry.......lol

<< <i>What's his name was right you are the biggest blowhard on these boards.

Forget your meds this morning ?
Or is this par for the course
I'm just padding my post count right now. Don't take it seriously.
I'm trying to catch the guy who has no life and just posts here twenty four seven.
Think I can ever catch him
And when you read something that someone else has said you get that wrong and
wind up looking 'dumb'
I see you waited all day for me to show up to even reply here.
Not like you were not on earlier.
We call that being a troll.
Adios punk.
Steve
Steve
Steve...Winpitcher....Amigo...Buddy.......
Where did this all go wrong ????
Steve
off the internet and get a life" person get the last word.

Grote15 man you know how to call em.
Expect Fitzie to reply soon..............
Steve
<< <i>Edmund, are you aware that you sound like an idiot? Just wondering, no offense intended... >>
Now I got two mets fans to have fun with.
Thanks for joining Grote. Hopefully you aren't as rude as the other guy.
This all started when the troll (aka winpitcher) decided to mouth in the Yankees Red Sox joust.
We poke at each other just like you Philly and Mets fans poke at each other.
We always stayed out of your business, but he decided to come into our battle and play troll police.
So if you want to be a classless poster like winpitcher, then be my guest. I understand that your team really
sucks, but that is not our problem.
Stay classy
Edited to add that winpitcher will respond because his post count indicates that he really doesn't have a choice.
<< <i>Grote15 sighting. >>
He's just sticking up for his fellow team mate.
Got to give him props for that.

We? What's this we stuff? I don't see anyone else acting all idiotic over what happened a month ago.
Every time you post and bring it up it only proves that you have no class, just like I said then.
Keep posting and telling everyone your sad story, I'm getting a kick out of it knowing that I struck a nerve
when I said you had NO CLASS. Sometime the truth hurts. In this case I was spot on.
If you can't understand that you were in fact acting like a jackal in that thread then I can't help that.
Seems everyone else understood.

Go and have a few beers you seem to do better when half in the bag.

<< <i>I like Eddie's new avatar, LOL... >>
There's a perfectly logical explanation why I needed the new avatar. It's been getting to my head having to root for the Patriots,
Celtics, and Red Sox the past ten years. I feel like I've lost touch with the rest of the sports world. I've decided to start to root
for teams that totally blow, so that I can come to grips with reality. It's real not easy being a New England sports fan anymore.
