I have a total of 125 auctions on eBay this week and will be listing hundreds more over the next two weeks. This week's auctions close on Sunday, July 12, 2009 and include the following:
Baseball Cards:
2 – 1972 Topps in PSA 9. The cards include #390 Willie Davis (Dodgers) and #689 Eddie Fisher (Angels).
3 – 1973 Topps in PSA 8 and PSA 9. The PSA 9 is #60 Ken Holtzman (A’s).
1 – 1975 Topps #656 Bill Plummer in PSA 8.
13 – 1976 Topps in PSA 8 and PSA 9. Included in this week's auctions are seven PSA 9’s. Star/tougher cards include #4 Dave Lopes RB (Dodgers), #89 Vern Ruhle (Tigers), #176 Dick Lange (Angels 1/10), #235 Bert Blyleven (Twins), #270 Willie Stargell (Pirates/HOF), and #365 Carlton Fisk.
31 – 1977 Topps in PSA 7, PSA 8, and PSA 9 including 28-PSA 9’s. Up for auction this week are a few tougher cards, some Yankees and Mets, and a few stars such as #6 Strikeout Leaders (Ryan/Seaver), #120 Rod Carew (Twins/HOF), and #525 Dennis Eckersley (Indians/HOF).
31 – 1977 Detroit Caesars Discs in PSA 8, 9, and 10. This is a tough issue! Even though I'm running some PSA 8's and 9's, in most cases these are the highest graded examples and have populations less than three. In many cases, I'm running 1 of 1's or 1 of 2's. Don't be fooled just because they are discs and think they are easy. The stars include Johnny Bench (Reds/HOF), Brooks Robinson (Orioles/HOF), Steve Carlton (Phillies/HOF), Thurman Munson (Yankees/PSA 10), Jim Palmer (Orioles/HOF), Tony Perez (Reds/HOF/PSA 10), and Nolan Ryan (Angels/HOF). If you are a player collector, don’t miss out on these!
14 – 1978 Topps in PSA 9, and PSA 10. Included in this week's auctions are seven PSA 10's and seven PSA 9's (including some tough cards). The 10's include #289 Checklist 243-363, #451 Twins Team, #535 Checklist 485-605, #551 Atlanta Braves Team, #587 John Urrea (Cardinals), #655 Lyman Bostock (Angels), and #665 Dennis Leonard (Royals).
30 – 1979 Topps in PSA 9 and PSA 10. This is the sixth of several weeks where I will be breaking a set that was over 42% complete with a 9.16 GPA. I will list between 35 and 65 cards per week until they are all gone. Up for auction this week are a few tough PSA 9's such #105 Rick Camp (Braves 1/8), #182 Tim Johnson (Blue Jays 1/8), #361 Tom Dixon (Astros 1/5), and #389 Joe Zdeb (Royals 1/5). In addition, there are eight PSA 10’s, and a few stars such as #39 Dale Murphy (Braves), #251 Jack Morris (Tigers), #321 Gaylord Perry (Padres/HOF), and #400 Jim Rice (Red Sox/HOF).
