Ok I know this guy is not on any drug but I had to look up his stats.
Batting AVG up 60 points from last year and 30 above his career AVG. (Now up 65 points)
Slugging is up over 100 points from last year and 60 points above his career SLG. (Now 120 points from last year and 70 from career)
He is on target to have career highs in nearly every offensive category this year. And no one is talking about his output.
The guy is 37 and having his career year. (Will be 39 on August 21st)

if not, he is Jacked up this year / i think he has been hurt and done nothing but hit the weights / plus he has been put in a good park , in a good lineup.
probably one of the biggest surprises physically and number wise

The guy is having a career year! He's also the guy who said something to the effect of "if I'm playing every day, that means there's something wrong" before the season. He was brought on as a role player and for depth, and I don't see how they can afford to NOT have him play.
