Todays arrival from Tidy House nice color and clash.....never seen a clash like this

Dang shame the coin didn't come with an envelope and all other papers, but I like it anyway.

I've seen 65s that don't look this good so I'm going to call it a 64.......................opinions please!

Datz a hell of a clash too, looks to be triple clashed.......................is there such a thing?

That looks like a very nice double clash with a slight rotation.

IKE dollars end up with single, double and triple talon heads as a result of this. I've even seen nice doubled moon lines.

I do not know how unique or scarce this might be on a Morgan though!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Yes there is. There is a 1886-P designated as VAM 1C 3+2 Clash marks reverse. This happened when one of the dies was loose and they clashed together several times making very seperated clash marks as die rotated.

Very nice. I believe I remember my mother getting one of those when I was a kid but nobody has any idea what happened to the morgans she got off TV. --Jerry

    Great color/clash/strike!!

    Enjoy!
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

Great coin! Really like the cotton ball clash. You have some reverse letters transferred also, very cool.

It seems so easy to look past the deserved commendation one should receive in one's constant search regarding numismatics.

and all them accolades, sir. This is what numismatics is made of. "Strike detail " is one little part. Eye appeal is another. Pedigree or history is one aspect, too. Things that make for fun are also things that make the pitter patter sound inside our chest.

Nice clash, nice toning, cool card. It's sad to think that somebody one day will probably remove it from that card and put it in a slab.

I suppose one could always put another MS Morgan in the Tidy House holder, though?

... Y'know, I like the toning on your second one better, even though it's more subtle.
