Fake, there's no period after "FINE" on the reverse.

    For comparison (it's TDN's coin):

Well for the record TDN's coin is a completely different Rev so die markers off of his cant be used on this one, but good eye.

The images are still up. I believe it is a fake because it has a berry under the eagle's claw (type1) but the lowest arrow point is over the top of the 2 in 420 (type 2). I don't know if the absence of a stop after FINE on this issue is a useful indicator or not.

no the arrow is correct, it stops before the 2 on Type1 and on top of the 2 in 420 on type 2. These are one of the best copied fakes out and have fooled many many people. It is ment to be a 76cc DDR and it does have 75% of the doubling but is missing some of the doubled points

It's a fake. The details of the wheat stalks and the smooth appearance of the blocks liberty is seated on are the main diagnostics. All the counterfeiters seem to have trouble getting the details of the wheat stalks to strike up, and a lot have problems getting the dimpled appearance of the blocks to show up. If that is not enough the 1876-CC T$ is a fairly expensive coin and anyone would be a fool to try to sell one raw. I doubt the raw coin, even if genuine, would bring 10% of the real value.

I think my eyes are getting old. Well, they are. I have tried hard to see the doubling in these images, and I just can't, even though I know what to look for. And, I still think the lower arrow tip looks too far to the left- but like I said I have a terrible time with most scans.
