Thats how alot of the coins there are looking anymore. Seems like alot of hyped up dreck. Not too mention some of the other toners are just completely phony and butt ugly.
It reads like hype to me. I don't trust this seller's images and now perhaps do not trust this seller for much else. By the way, here is a real 1858 proof half-dime of which approximately 80-125 pieces are believed to have been originally struck.

Thats what I was thinking. I fully understand how some toning wont appeal to some, and will to others,
I'm not convinced any are AT at all. What you have to realize is that the hue and saturation are adjusted so much that the coins do not look like the quality images or characteristic styles we are accustomed to from the likes of Mark Goodman, Mike Printz, Brandon Kelly or PCGS.
I follow ya Tom. I didnt think of that. I dont mean to sound like Im nit picking the dealers coins or anything. It just looks like alot of really bright colors, and wild descriptions. The descriptions alone would worry me if buying, and the pics would too.

But what is this?
2000 Flushes?
WTH
So, what caused this toning?
I like N.O. coins, but what is this?
Stunning? Ummm, ok.
Talk about some questionable toning... Anyone think any of those are NT or AT?
