Giveaway: Suggestions wanted!

I'm converging on 2500 posts and my third-year anniversary (7/29) here on these boards. I'd like to do a giveway and I'm soliciting your ideas and suggestions.

I have some good stuff to give away. Just take a look at my donation to Airplanenut's last charity auction!

Anyway we've got 3 wks. to figure it out! I think I'll post the giveaway in this thread. Just help me decide the contest and I'll decide what to give away. Either way, it will be something that I've posted here in the past 3 years!

I don't really have any suggestions. I believe anything in a giveaway is acceptable. Because really, it is just that, a giveaway.

But then again I guess it kind of depends on what the giveaway consists of and who you're targeting. Fairly new collectors like myself would pretty much be happy with anything IMO. But if you want to impress the ones who've been in the hobby for awhile you'd have to come up with something really creative.

Good advice IJ. The purpose of a giveaway is not to impress ones peers but to offer a trinket that any collector might appreciate on a variety of levels.

I don't post much and a 2500-post or 3-year milestone are not necessarily impressive stats. But, the convergence of these milestones compels me to do something special. So this is why I am asking for input and yours' IJ is exactly the type of feedback that will influence me.

The best gifts are the ones that come from the heart and have meaning to both the giver and the recipient. My suggestion is to think about what has been the greatest benefit you have received from this forum and try to share that with another thru your gift.

I like the guess the ammount of change in a bowl or what page the RB will get opened to alot. COngrats on your upcoming milestone!
