I'm sure one of those companies that crack out moderns for submissions must have some. Perhaps ask one of them and perhaps they could send you one for free plus shipping.

Arn't they "Cointain's"? Those come in almost all sizes.
Have never heard of anywhere to get mint replacments.

This question was posted last July, and apparently there has been no authoritative answer yet. Has anyone determined if the same capsules as used by the US mint are commercially available anywhere? Even if it's known they're not available, it might be very useful to have that piece of negative information.

I never was able to find the supplier of the actual mint capsules. They do seem to be different from anything else on the market. Best bet is to post a WTB over on the BST.
