An article in Coin World says that PCGS discussed whether to attribute the doubled die varieties but as of June 26 the decision they made was to not recognize them.

I think more time is needed.
(that's just my imagination runnin' wild)
And, by the way, I've asked for years to get the non-CPG Jefferson varieties attributed with no luck. That's why my money these days mostly buys previously graded varieties from other TPGs. I would love to have them all in PCGS plastic, but as for now, they all reside in other companies plastic. If PCGS attributed these things, those other companies may end up out of business.
I also think a PCGS registry set of all known Jefferson RPMs would be a serious challenge.

It's like VAMs.....why would any TPG ever attribute all those varieties???
I think ANACS was the 1st with these also...
My 40- 001's and 40- 002's are scheduled for shipping on Thursday. I'm hoping for some good grades!
