Did PCGS take a 4-day weekend break?

I tried calling Friday for a pickup appointment and got a "we're in a meeting for 45 minutes, leave your name and number and we'll call back message" (they never did.) Then today I've tried a couple of times and I've gotten a "we're closed" message.
When in doubt, don't.

    Happy Fourth of July!
    PCGS will be closed Friday, July 3rd and Monday, July 6th to celebrate the Fourth. Please give us a little extra time on Tuesday to process any requests. Have a wonderful weekend.

    Probably. I remember in the old days some dealers would completely close shop the entire month of July. I think some still do.

    Not to be a wise guy or anything... but it does sound as if you have gotten an answer to your question... sometimes no news is all the news you need...imageimage
