Happy 4th of July USA fans! It's interesting to note our Declaration was first approved on the 2nd of July, 1776. Most of those who signed this document thought the 2nd would be the date remembered in history. John Adams wrote twice to Abigail about the vote and never mentioned the 4th. Thomas Jefferson used the afternoon of the 4th to shop for ladies' gloves.
May we of today always honor and respect their work!
