Visit to the NY Federal reserve

Just got back from a week in NYC. Although the hilight of the trip for my daughter was four visits to Nintendo World. The hilight for me was our visit to the NY fed. We got to see the gold bars and the ANS numismatic collection. If you live in the NYC area or are planning a visit I would recommend it. One caveat, you need an advanced reservation to get in. To get this you need to go to the NY Fed website.

I did this last summer and thought it was amazing. The amount of gold is beyond surreal....

You need a reservation to see the gold vault. It's not necessary to view the coin exhibit.

I was there a couple of months ago. The coins are amazing, the vault is amazing, but the gold is just so-so (they don't let you go in and touch it).
