Grandma must still be alive

Because if it's true that this ebay seller has gotten her coins from her Mother, that was passed down from her Mother ...... then Grandma is doing very well, considering she just bought this Dollar a couple weeks ago from Heritage May 27 2009 Heritage

lindalouisek( 80) has 80 positive feedbacks in a little over 2 mths ...... interesting how Grandma acquired more keys than most. After reading the feedback and looking at a couple coins, I thought ..... wow, maybe she's being honest, perhaps this Dollar is worth taking a chance on. There's no end to the scum on Ebay. IMHO the $2530 paid at Heritage was pretty good value. I hope the scum bag looses money on the resale though ..... but not likely from scimming the other suckers taken on previous sales.

Life is nothing but a story for profit to some.
  • I just sent this to the seller under this auction, odds are 'it' won't respond and will probably attempt to block me, but I do believe it is time for the coin posse to gather and stalemate this seller..

Why would you take a certified coin that was labeled from Anacs as CLEANED and recently sold in a Heritage auction for over $5,000.00, put it up as a raw coin claiming it was passed down from Granddad to mom? You do realize that you are a very hot topic in the coin world as being trash and a scammer right? If I were you (and I'm glad I'm not) I would dump the BS about gramps and mom story- been used to much - and you need to be truthful about the items you are selling.

This aught to be fun- would love to see it posted in the auction.

Nothing wrong with profit, but there is with deceit and scamming.
  • Good find, Amigo. Interesting little bidding war going on with her auctions between the "1" and the "8". Noticed how many "1" was bidding up. The Aerosmith lyrics "same old story, same old song and dance" come to mind. Buy it as problem in ANACS, NCS, etc... Crack it out and flip it with grandma/grandfather story & problem(s) not disclosed.

I used "ash seller a question" to ask her about her grandmothers relationship with Heritage the first time smoething was poster about this. She replied that she was going to report me to eBay for harassment if I sent her another message. At the time I was to busy with other things to keep going but maybe I should start again now.

Maybe Grandma was Scrooge McDuck's mistress?

I sent a polite inquiry asking why the coin was removed from the ANACS holder. Will let you know if I receive a reply.

I just don't understand why people make up such lies. Does the fact that grandma owned the coin make it any more attractive or valuable? Just describe the coin and list it, forget about all the extraneous BS, that only makes the seller look dishonest.

I thought "ash seller" was a special feature that only Ebay itself could use on their sellers.

Report the quarter auction! Use as many reports as is necessary to get eBays attention. While this may be a sound business model for some unscrupulous folks, it is an outright deception to state that the coin was left as an ihneritance when it was purchased just weeks ago.

I really wish eBay hadn't hid the bidder id's as all the facts are right there for folks to look at and validate.

    WOW
I understand the buyer of the 1801 dollar has been alerted, the 116 feedback was a tell and pretty easy to spot......

This seller is along the lines of Kingo/ SeatedKey but not in Niagra Falls like the Schukster. The MO is the same scum business model.

You guys give up on reporting this scammer or what?

  • I've reported twice. Check out the bids by the bidder known as y***r(2). 56 bids on the 1855 $3 and 66 bids on the 1834 quarter.

The only one y***r(2) is not bidding on, is the 1932-S Washington. The mattyying(195) identity (who just left the glowing feedback) is involved with that one.

Also, after the 1872-CC "sold" the first time, lindalouisek had the audacity to use r***2(27) to shill for the next auction (for the very coin he had just "won" two weeks prior).

  • << <i>Use as many reports as is necessary to get eBays attention. >>

A family member has also reported one of the auctions. It's just wait and see, for now. So far, zero results.
  • 19Lyds19Lyds Posts: 26,491 ✭✭✭✭
Me too. I've reported the auction on the 32-S 8 times with asbsolutely no results.

Although some conmdone this particular business model (?), I think it is downright deceptive and the value of the bids proves it. On heritage, few folks wanted the coin because its been cleaned and has a nasty scratch down George's neck.

The eBay bidders cannot see that not can they see the abrasive lines left over from the cleaning. Too friggin bad eBay limits the amount of text you can put in one of these reports but then, I guess thats just a testament to how much they really care. Providing auction links that they would actually look at to disprove that crap about receiving it as an inheritance should cause some kind of investigation!

It appears that eBay has even made it difficult for their T & S folks to track this stuff down.

    Sheesh!
