That coin is definately at. It has been submitted to some kind of heat source. I know because i have a coin that looks just like it by being placed on the back of my computer moniter and over time it looks the same.
I will say that it won't get slabbed today.....Been there, done that
Seems like TPG's consider all toning AT now..... >>
Not necessarily true, though I do understand your feelings and what you are talking about (The "Genuine" holder is getting more of a workout than it should ).
It could get slabbed, but I really don't think it would slab above a MS66.

Who cares if it's NT or AT. It's ugly and should be dipped.

<< <i>The smaller bottom photos show the color and look much nicer. Looks like a finger print on the obverse so many will deduct for that. >>
Yes, the smaller ones show the color more but look tweaked to do so. Also, the fingerprint, in such a focal place, will, rightfully so, get deducted a bit. Too, the splotchiness like that.....sometimes it is just a toning thing, but in this case, it looks quite like milkspots that show when the coin tones.

Big deal I made a mistake in typing. What are you perfect and dont make mistakes. I say my coin is at because of the heat source off my MONITOR.

But, we haven't seen, nor are we talking about, YOUR coin. The one in the photo is NT. Whether or not it is mimicked by you and your monitor doesn't have a bearing on the coin in question.
These ASEs tone quickly. The question of AT vs NT is a question of what the reader thinks of various storage methods.
Is toning caused by storing an ASE between folds of a napkin NT? In a cardboard coin folder? Both methods of storage are similar in that the very reactive pure silver gets exposed to sulpher. Is toning that is accelerated by putting your coin on a windowsill AT?

To me the distinction is murky. >>
I agree with this. And in spite of being the minorty here I stand with my AT.
ANT = Assisted Natural Toning or Accelerated Natural Toning.
Take your pick!
Given the metal content on these bullion pieces, they are very prone to toning and I suspect that many folks are taking advantage of that particular situation.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

It is most likely unpleasant natural toning. Holder and environment (pre-slabbing)

There should be a comma after the word perfect.
