Here's something you don't see on Ebay much anymore

"Hi, just letting you know that your item will be mailing out on Monday July 6 by 9AM. We will email later that day to confirm shipment. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Thanks very much!"
this for a $1.35 item with free shipping I just bought and paid for about 20 minutes ago.
seller - amelia5rabbits (869) 100%
for some reason, that was just really impressive to me

<< <i>I thought there was an automatic email generated by paypal when you create the label? >>
I do not use paypal for shipping, and I choose not to let stamps.com send the email automatically.

Leave a positive feedback on eBay for "sellers id". & I will return the favor...
P.S.-
*If leaving positive feedback, if you feel my shipping/handling prices were fair,
please consider giving me a "5 stars" under ONLY the "shipping and handling charges"
on the detailed seller ratings...
Since ebay is using this to give us sellers discounts, any help is much appreciated!

I don't mind all that but I can bet some would be put off.

My Mess
It makes such a big difference when sellers inform buyers of specific shipping dates and provide tracking without being asked.

While they will lose money on your purchase, the 'good will' they earned is worth far more - no doubt you will keep them on your favorite list; as I would.
Thanx for sharing.

I never mention FB.
Since the FB scheme changed, I leave FB upon payment.
.........................................................
Currently, about 70% of buyers leave FB.
Of those, less than half play the star-game.
..................................
I seldom sell collectibles on EBAY.

I agree 100% with all 4 of those points.
However, it is nice to get the follow up email from the seller stating when they will ship and thanking you for the purchase.

You - and lots of other sellers - are MUCH braver than I am.
Buyers tend not to care that EBAY is destroying sellers.
Suggesting that buyers might not be "satisfied," is too risky for me.
Mentioning FB can invite bad results; like extortion.
.....
BUT, if it works for you, no point in changing it.
Truthfully,
Ive lately gone right to auto feedbacking on the day of shipment.......
But then again, their always that one customer thats not satisfied with one day "handling" as we all cant work for the post office.....
I just want them to know that the day after their payments arrive they're items are going to the post office.

<< <i>I may be in the minority, but I have always felt that feedback should be left upon arrival of payment. Even more so in today's feedback environment. If I get an email or note that says anything regarding "reciprocal" feedback, I can guarantee that feedback will never be left. In my opinion, this "reciprocal" feedback is what started ebay on the path to what feedback is now. Back in the day, I saw many sellers leave pos for pos, neut for neut and neg for neg, regardless of what actually transpired in the transaction and this was from a lot of "honest" sellers, you can only imagine what the sleazeball sellers did for feedback. >>

All true.
I used to leave FB after it was left for me.
Now, there is nothing in it for sellers to avoid leaving FB first.
his/her payment and that the item would be shipped ASAP.
I then leave pos feedback.
In the old days I would leave pos feedback first only if I knew the buyer. Since I believe payment is not the end of the transaction.
Since I never received a negative for selling, I never had to retaliate (i probably would not have)
I simply would have replied to the negative.
