I can be walking out the door to go on a trip, but if it's on I'll sit down and watch it for the 53rd time. I don't know why. Perhaps it brings back my memories as a kid when I first saw it in the movies.

As someone who remembers 9600 baud dialup service, I wonder how many days your little slide show would have taken to run way back then?????? LOL

I had a 2400 baud Hayes external modem in the early nineties(Compuserve)....$400!!!!!!!
My uncle had a 300 baud in the 80's!!!

I had a 110 baud modem running a Z80 homebuilt. I only knew one other person with a modem so rather limited use. We ran a DOS from the navy Monterrey Lab, but I can't remember its name Digital research eventually commercialized it. God, I am glad the good old days are gone! ( computer wise)
