<< <i>I don't ever stop collecting a series. I just take breaks. Sometimes very long breaks. So, yes, my eye often wanders back to series that have remained dormant. >>
Amen Brother! I recently started a Shield Nickel collection and while doing so I got back into my oft-neglected Liberty Nickel collection and just recently completed it!
I'm now working on my Silver $ collections, upgrading to BU. This is getting somewhat expensive. But just starting a new series has me now looking at long-neglected series too.

I dabble in Lincoln varieties here and there, but figure trying to amass the whole series again is just too expensive.
I have a warm spot in my heart for those guys, though, and still like to look at them when someone puts a nice one up here. Once you have an eye for a series, you keep it.
