I would hope that the answer to your question is no. I think the people who will buy coins in the genuine holders are more knowledgeable collectors that will be looking for rarities in the series that they collect. Myself I would not purchase a genuine slab unless I could see it in hand first. And in my opinion anybody that buys them on eBay just as well throw there money away. But I will admit that I see then listed there and selling for more than I would ever pay for an impaired coin.

One of the ways to catch the fakes is wrong grades, the fake wear they put on them often doesn't look natural so it fits better in problem holders.
