What was the slab co. owned by Heritiage people?

Did they under/over/accurately grade? And do they carry a premium?

Heritage ran NCI and graded to the market standards that Jim Halperin set. Many coins would carry the same grade today.

The holders do not carry a premium, IMHO.

Look on the front of the CDN (ie greysheet) to get a relative idea of where NCI would stand against the other 7 grading companies listed. While it's true that any single coin in anyone's holder can compare favorably with the tightest of top tiered TPG grading standards, I think the average is more representative.

Thanks, guys. The slab I saw wasn't NCI. At least I don't think it was. It was a white slab, maybe green lettering? Fairly old, too. I do think it had a "n" in the acronym, though. Any other possibilities?

I can't believe anyone takes that chart seriously.

Try checking here for a list of TPGs, most with pics of their slabs as well.
