How would I get delivery confirmation to Canada?

I'm about to list an expensive hockey card and it is important to me that I try to get some sort of confirmation...would I have to go a different route than usps? I still would like to keep the shipping cost reasonable to the future buyer.

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

I think I'll charge 10.00 to Canada and eat the rest of the cost...
  • Really depends on the value of the item and the weight. Last package I sent to Canada was a box of cards and it cost about $32 with signature confirmation.

This topic is really annoying for me. Why can't our items be protected by, and insured by the people sucking up our money. Friggn gangland style attitude, pay for our protection or we may lose or damage your item???

I could go on and on... Got a call from my Bank a few days ago, they offered me coverage for any type of scam from scammers. I told them I would appreciate their coverage for free, seeing how I'm a customer theirs. Why should I.......................... F***. I really hate people, pulling the wool.

You might not want to eat the extra cost. Depending on the value declared a significant amount in taxes will be due on delivery. If the buyer refuses to pay them the card will be returned. For the refund it will be best to have your full cost for shipping on the invoice.

The same thing is happening here to the GM dealerships that forgot to "pay" for the proper protection back before November.
