"Nothing in coin collecting is more FUN than the free, interactive PCGS Set Registry. And if you need any incentive to include your friends, we'll give you a BIG one – FREE grades!
Every time you refer a friend who joins the Set Registry (new members only), you get 25 points. You'll also get 100 bonus points for the first and fifth referral, 250 bonus points for the tenth referral, and 50 bonus points for every referral after the tenth. (See adjacent table.)
For every 100 points you accumulate, you receive a FREE grade at the Regular Service* level! And with this program, you have the potential to accumulate LOTS of free gradings.
Points are awarded when the person you refer has a set reach 25% completion. This covers any set your friend creates – it does not need to be the first set they create after receiving the referral.
How to Get Credit for Your Referrals To get credit for a referral, just send your friend this link to the Set Registry via e-mail or instant messenger:
"government is not reason, it is not eloquence-it is a force! like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." George Washington
So Lee do you know how many points you accumulated?
Just wondering, GrandAm >>
I do Gary which is what surprised me so much.
I had only 4 referrals of which only 3 of them actually registered sets for a total of 75 points. The first referral had a 100 point bonus so my total was a paltry 175 points! I guess folks knew about the contest but just didn't pursue it which was why I was so surprised when I received the email.
For future reference though, the program is continuing as fas as the points go so if you wan some free gradings, just start getting folks to sign up for the registry.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
I tried to make one referall to a person who was not participating in the Registry... followed the instructions and the person joined, but I never got credit... probably didn't work since they were a member of this forum???? Gave up on the program after that didn't work, but I did bring one new person to the PCGS Registry anyways, and they have a pretty sweet set But if I had known that 4 would win it!!!

<< <i>....on winning the refer a friend program that PCGS was going.
Congrats!
What was the program and when did it run?
This inaugural program ran for at least a year.
From the PCGS Registry Page:
"Nothing in coin collecting is more FUN than the free, interactive PCGS Set Registry. And if you need any incentive to include your friends, we'll give you a BIG one – FREE grades!

How to Get Credit for Your Referrals
To get credit for a referral, just send your friend this link to the Set Registry via e-mail or instant messenger:
http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/Default.aspx?sid=1968
This link has a special code embedded that will let us know your friend came from you, so make sure you copy the whole link.
Or use this simple form to e-mail your link to your friend(s) now!
Track your referrals on the My Referrals page."
From what I understand, the referral points will remain so that free gradings can be earned but there will not be any future grand prizes.
