Thoughts on refractors

i love em and collect em--any of em--anybody got an opinion on their potential down the road?
i have been considering several diff sets
will they be in demand above and beyond the normal issues--scarcity varies but they are all
shorter printed than the regular issues---are they just a fad?

That's my thought
MOST of them prolly have limited future values as an "investment."

Phil,
That is a very impressive list of 93 refractors. I actually have a very hard time telling the difference between regular 93 Finest and the refractor version. So needless to say the only ones I purchase would be graded. The only one I own (That I know of) is Sandberg PSA 9.

I think that is the case for a lot of folks because you can actually pick up refractors listed as base for both '93s and '94s fairly often.
Other than '93 and '95 Refractors, I think the best cards ever produced with the "rainbow" coating are Donruss' version of the refractor, used from '96 to '98, heavily so in that final year.
