My attempt to share a heartfelt thought failed with all of the knock off threads started from this one.
So I'm poofing it.
Just wanted to share this piece of "what the hobby means to me" realization.

<< <i>I live in the northwest! own a dimond back drift boat, and own a 52 Mantle. I fill the same way you do. the 52 mantle brings a smile to myself everyday sell your boat get a 52 Mantle! I will take you fishing down the umpuqa river catch small mouth bass all day long. The drift boat is fun, but the Mantle is history. >>
I'm not selling my boat!
But I am setting myself up to purchase a '52 Mantle...It's just a matter of time when I find the right one...I just hope one with eye appeal keeps me happy versus having to buy one with a mid grade slab.
How's the Umpqua these days? The summer steelhead should be in full force soon....

Feel free to post your irrelevant fishing reports on this thread and I'll do the same.
I've been meaning to hit up the Umpqua for years now, I hear the winter run is world class.

Steelhead fishing is a blast! One of the most beautiful and acrobatic game fish in the world.
Outdoors is a passion and hobby unrivaled in my family and will be passed onto my children.
Baseball cards are dear to me personally but I don't expect my children or future generation to share this passion.
That's why I struggle to give in so heavily $$ for my own personal passion for cards.
So i'll settle for the PSA 3 with eye appeal instead

My dog showed up later to help me bag a big one...
