<< <i>While cleaning out the house, we found 1000's & 1000's of cards in the basement - no idea what's all there or what it's worth. >>

I hate scam artists like this and assume you are pointing this out, right?

    Patrick,

Like Oakesy, I'm not seeing a scam anywhere.

It's a local pick-up only! How would anyone be scammed?

Mint, just because someone says that found cards and dont know what its worth, does not mean its a scam. Believe it not there are millions of people who have cards and have no clue what there worth. People find cards in houses they buy, people find cards in random places, people buy them at garage sales and have no idea. To say someone is scam artist with no actual proof, proves how intelligent you are.

BTW, were still waiting for your awesome article.

  • I live around 3 hours away. Didn't even see that.

But I also look more for vintage than new stuff.

<< <i>Who knows what gems are in this collection? >>

I didn't see a scam necessarily but the last statement does set a small alarm off.

If someone didn't know anything about cards, they would just see it as a pile of cardboard to be sent out with the trash.

Awwww shucks Goober - I sho hope I find a diamond up that goat's ass!
