Star Note Oddity

recently came across a $1.00 star note and found it to be from 2003. When I got home to put it away I noticed that I now have eight $1.00 star notes and every one of them are dated 2003! Does anyone else here happen to collect them and are you finding the dates to be the same? -Mary

    Star notes are available in most all series. 2003 was just a year where there were a lot so they are common. Not even worth hanging onto IMO. Also the "series" on notes/bills is not the same as coins, The 2003 series could have been printed until 2006 ect.. The series year is when the note design was approved.
