    I knew it was a scam as soon as I saw the very first line of the email.

    No email from PayPal will EVER say "Dear member," "Dear account holder," or any other nonspecific salutation. It will always use your full first and last name.

    If the email doesn't have that you don't need to read any further. It's a scam. Delete it.
